During the 2013 Blogworld New Media Expo in Las Vegas, I stumbled upon the LiveLab booth in the expo hall.

After learning more about Livelab, I was invited to take a survey to test my knowledge of new media.  The survey asked several questions about the current state of the internet and mobile markets.  Apparently, I know from what I speak, because I was one of the top three scorers from the conference.

At the end of the survey, I was asked to pose for a photo “thinking about the future.”  The photo above is my best pondering pose.

All of this was to promote their latest project, Inventing the future.

Inventing the Future is a live news program featuring coming trends that will shape society. In today’s world, success means knowing “What’s Next After What’s Next?” Led by Robert Tercek, Inventing the Future offers insight into the future of the world after tomorrow.   The first show aired on January 23.  The next live show will air February 13, 2013 at 7:00PM .

Oh,  I was one of the top 3 scorers on the survey during Blogworld & New Media Expo and I won an Ipad Mini!  It arrived yesterday.  I’m more of an Android fan girl, but I’m very appreciative of the prize!
